Brands Hatch Lotus Festival

Here are a few photos taken at the Brands Hatch one day Lotus festival yesterday. Met up with a couple of fellow Elan owners. A good turnout of cars and lovely weather as well.

It was good to bump into you William, hope you had an enjoyable day.

I saw Alan's (Spyderfan) superSprint there as well, but never managed to get hold on him for a chat.

Regards
Richard

She's there twice Phil!

A great day, I met up with Paul (Elan 66) Peter (HexagonDHC) and Adam (PastaPesto)

Peter,
I owe you 2 coffees or a big ice cream! A pleasure to have a chat at Hawthorns cafe, I hope your starting difficulties didn't manifest at the end of the day and you got home without problems?

Sue and I just enjoyed the day looking at cars and watching the racing, one of my suppliers for work was racing a Caterham in the Allcomers race, I cheered him and his pals big time as they all had Duratec engines, but sadly outclassed by a pesky Radical with a motorbike engine and loads of downforce.

I think the event was quite a lot smaller than previous years, for one thing it was just 1 day instead of 2 and there were far fewer trade stands or even food stands open than a couple of years ago, I hope this is just a blip and it will be back bigger and better than ever next year.
Kindest regards

Sorry I didn't get to meet more people, I should have left my number on the car alongside the car information board I put in the windscreen. I will make sure to do that next year or at any other show I go to.

A few more photo's, I want one of those Lotus bikes!

I am pleased to announce that getting home was a much better experience than leaving home - in fact it was hugely enjoyable given how nice the evening was. I have attached a couple of more photos.

Regards,
Peter
