Were you there yourself?
Next time maybe we should wear forum name badges.
I did my best to recruit two lost souls , who are starting Elan renovations, but did not know of our forum here.

It did look interesting as a barn find. It had a hillclimb or speed trial medal on the dash too.

All hearsay I regret, not proof. One of the visitors said that he thought that the Sevens started with serial number 400 and that this one was number 404. Alas I never found such a 404 number on the car itself.
{interestingly on the Internet, error 404 means "Not Found" }

This is the plate on the old Seven, mentioned by Tim.
It Says:
National Benzole Trophy
1963
Winner
D.Price
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
The plate on the passengers side all corroded and curly was actually an 'insurance' warning plate a sort of: "Abandon Hope all ye who ride in this passenger seat"
Bill, yes I was there, spotted you but didn't get a chance to introduce myself. Was there with a friend and his uncle. Turns out the Uncle (Pete ???) Bought a lotus 20 from Peter Warr back in the Day and did a fair bit of single seat racing... And claims to have beaten one J Hunt in formula ford a few times....
