There is an interesting article in this months Classic & Sports car mag. charting the background and history of the type 56B turbine driven FI car. It includes comments by Simon Taylor who was give an opportunity to drive the car at Silverstone recently.

Simon Taylor actually drove this car....in period... when working for Autosport in 1970/71. This article references that event. Imagine that today.....a current F1 journalist (not an ex racing driver!) being allowed to run in a current F1 car by a leading team !
