Malcolm Ricketts BBQ is on a Saturday this year starting at 12 noon on 20th August, the address is The Old Dairy Barn, Lamer Lane, Wheathampstead Herts AL4 8RG.

lots of extremely interesting cars always turn up and Malcolm has promised one or two surprises.

entry is free, and there is always a really good BBQ for a suggested donation for Malcolm's charity choice which this year is the Isabel Hospice. Wine and beers are also available for a donation so that co-pilots can refresh themselves

An interesting or well presented car will guarantee a good parking spot, but get there early because the event is always well attended.

I look forward to seeing some of you there.

It would be nice to make this. I was in touch with Malcolm last year as I found his name on my V5. He courteously said he'd like to see the old girl again.

Where about's are you in Sussex Graeme? I will most likely drive to Malcolms from Pevensey on the Saturday morning.

He is always pleased to see my 67 Elan S3 Coupe as that was his first Lotus; but I have heard that he grumbles a little that I had it painted yellow over black instead of its original red.

I have very poor face recognition so if you see me, please re-introduce yourself.

It's been the bane of my life...

My photo is above.
Short, rotund, with a white (gnomelike) beard, no moustace. 8)

Probably the best turnout ever, if the weather hadn't been a bit changeable I think there would have been a traffic jam in Lamer Lane!

Here's the first photos, I haven't had a chance to edit and I tend to take photos of odd things that catch my eye, enjoy.
