Yesterday I called Alan Voigts to confirm his T9 5-speed kit is still available. It is. Price yesterday - 2k BPS. Yesterdays rate was 1.48 to the $. Today it's 1.37. A one day drop in price of $220.

BTW - he said his machinist was out sick, and he had a backlog of 20 orders. So it'd take a while. But I thought it interesting that the kit was still so popular after what, 15 years on the market?

After the Brexit vote, and the plummet in the British pound, I also pulled out my wish list of parts for my Elan.

The carpets in my Elan are rather tatty so I though a replacement set may be nice. However, the shipping was GBP300 on top of the GBP200 for the carpets, so I had to give up on that idea.

Have put together an alternative list of smaller lighter/less bulky parts and will be ordering these later in the week.

Geez Skittle, do you work for the Gummint ? :D

Looking at that graph you'd be forgiven for thinking the pound had dropped by 66% against the NZ dollar, when in realty it's dropped by a massive, (not... ), 15 cents.
Add the other $1.85 that's missing from the graph and it doesn't look that amazing, certainly not enough to get me dusting off the VISA card !

( Leaving off most of the graph is the sneaky trick pulled by Governments the world over as it invariably makes rises, ( or drops depending on what you want), look much more dramatic.)
