Dear All
Have just spent the last half -hour trawling through the archives to see if anyone had collated a list of steering wheel types with respect to Make,Model,Year etc but No
Does anyone have a well informed list?
Diameters,Dish,Wood,Leather,Plastic,Holes,Slots Horn-pushes???

Please....

Thank you

John

Maybe I could start it off with Diameter Elans 14" , Plus2's 15".

John

I'm sure there was an article in Club Lotus magazine not long ago, probably longer than I think. Tim co-wrote it with elanintheforest.

Hi Tim

In the table you list the Plus 2 S130 as having the Chapman signature - my 73 car does not have a signature but all the other details are the same. But given its a Lotus maybe Colin forgot to sign my cars wheel

cheers

As we wrote in the article: "As we have often said before, with Lotus in the 60s and 70s nothing can be exactly pinned down and we know there are some exceptions to the rule. "

This is excellent. Many thanks to the writers. Can it be entered into "The Library" for future reference?

Seems Colin forgot to sign my 72 S130's wheel aswell. I'm fairly sure it was the original to the car, 15 inch, black, leather, 4 holes, no spats & 'ashtray' centre. It lives a life of leisure hanging on my garage wall now though, as I prefer something a little smaller :D
Thankfully, he did remember to sign the one in my Series 4
