Vehicle registration plate lookup

Not sure if this is the right sub-forum for this question, but is there a way to look up information on my dad's car using the original British registration plate? It was MCL701H before it brought into the U.S.

Ive just checked the database and the car isn't shown which means that nothing has been recorded on the car since the DVLA went digital in around 1983.

Thanks for checking. I probably should've said the car was registered in 1969.

xCL --- H registrations were issued by NORWICH between 1st Aug 1969 - 31st Jul 1970
