my Elan Sprint had been sold to user mariodschy, I cannot find a way to delete it from my account at elanregistry.org.

My s3 is listed twice as well. I asked a year ago that the PO be removed.

Rather than delete an entry, I'd like to see an 'addition' to the current entry, ie, the new owner's info, entered
by the new owner, of course, without being able to modify any previous data.
The VIN, chassis number, body number should be the primary entry with subsequent owner's information following. This way, we have a complete history of a car, giving it some level of provenance.
Sorry, this doesn't really answer the question but is rather a 'shout out' to the current, or new, database

a long time ago when Jim asked for a successor I came up and suggested a complete redesign (and did prototype), including the things you mentioned and other things, to create a timeline for each car (original state, owners, mods, ...), so it could grow into a valuable information base for future owners. Not necessary public.
But ... no replies ...
