NE Surrey (Thames Ditton / Esher) Lotus Mechanic?

PostPost by: Stevie-Heathie » Tue Feb 02, 2016 10:18 pm

For now my '67 S3 is behaving herself (touches wood) but one of these days something will need doing which is beyond my capabilities. Could anybody please recommend a mechanic / garage in this area? Bell & Colvill are only 12 miles down the road in West Horsley but they don't deal with older Loti anymore I believe . . .

Many thanks,
Steve

I'm sure B+C could do it, but main dealer prices.
Back on track specialise in Elise/Exiges but are excellent mechanics and at the end of the day it's a simple car. They are in Guildford. Speak to Jez who is absolutely trustworthy.
Chris Randall who races an Elan is at Hofmanns in Henley.

I would unhesitatingly recommend Lakeside Engineering in Addlestone. Theyhave looked after my Elise for years with complete integrity, and provided generous and very well informed help to me in joining the Plus 2 club recently. Both extremely knowledgeable ex B&C chaps.

Just booked the Elan in to Lakeside for a once over and the MOT next week. Confidence inspiring on the phone! So far so good, thanks again John.
