A few shots of the only ?lan to attend the track day at Mallala in South Australia last weekend as a part of the Lotus 2015 event held there. Around 70 Lotus attended from every state and territory in Australia, of all types from Mike Bennetts original Lotus 12 right up to the latest models. An amazing weekend.
The ?lan easily held its own and impressed everyone with its speed and handling, not bad for an oldie :D

As it was a 2000k round trip and the temps were expected to be in the mid 30's we took the Elise this year, and will take the ?lan to Lotus 2017 in Victoria. The drive back from Adelaide to Melbourne was through high winds with a temperature around 35c and a few very large dust/sand storms with visibility in one shortish section down to around 30m, most unseasonal and parts of Victoria had massive bush fires raging, thankfully not the bit the lotus was driving through.

If I could have taken any other car there home with me as well as my Elise it would be the Lotus 12 of mike Bennetts....... Truly the stuff of dreams

And a short bit of video at this link

No slight meant to the driver Rohan, you obviously drive it with great skill and enthusiasm :D
I was merely implying that the car looked be flying and the handling looked very well set up too.
It was a treat to watch and I look forward to Lotus 2017 in your home state and seeing it again, we will be taking Emma over for that one.
