Lotus Elan and Lotus Elan Plus 2 Forums

I realise no-one has posted about the upcoming Lotus Nationals here in Australia, so thought I should raise its profile, particularly if there are any local members in South Australia who might like to come along.

The event is taking place in the Barossa Valley, a gorgeous wine region of South Australia.

You can join the whole event, or if you prefer just to come along to the Concours, or the trackday at Malala, get in touch, and I am sure the organisers can accomodate you!

So far there are over 140 attendees, so it promises to be a great weekend.

I always have the Esprit as back up if the Elan does not get ready in time The Plus 2 still waiting for completion of reassembly after its full repaint following the fire at the last Lotus national meeting in Canberra

Very much looking forward to seeing you there Rohan - if you are arriving early (by Thursday morning) you would be most welcome to join us on a run up to the Clare Valley and an overnight stay in Mintaro Mews (call Peter on 0433 111 252 and tell him you are with us!) followed by a day of wandering the wineries before we head to Tanunda for Friday evening. So far there's three cars going all the way - Caroline and me, Syd Reinhardt and Hartley Cook - and another three joining us for the run as far as Chain of Ponds....we are meeting in Adelaide at about 10am - let me know and I can send you full details
