On the Tuesday following the Revival there will be 40 Spitfires, 6 Hurricanes and the Blenheim at Goodwood, assembling to commemorate the 75th anniversary of the Battle of Britain. The Spits will fly take off in groups of eight then all fly south to Selsey where the five groups will disperse to other airfields. Obviously they will be visible from all around, especially from The Trundle to the north, but if you're quick you can get into Goodwood airfield and circuit free:

Not sure if these are links but you can paste them in your browser if not.

Most of the Revival catering etc will be retained including the GRRC tents.

I'll be there Sunday with my wife and in our Red Spyder Elan +2, it'll be the one with the non-period-correct racing stickers on the doors and wings :P

Ill be in the classics car park ("Revival Car Show" I believe it's called), if anyone gets any nice pics of the car then I would be grateful if you could post them up or let me know.

Still haven't got a single good PIC of the car yet but hoping to take some on Sunday.

See u there

Anyone coming to Revival along the A27 from the East should note that there is likely to be single lane traffic west-bound at Shoreham and also, on Friday morning at least, even longer delays than normal into Arundel due to road works at the station.

Spitfires on Tuesday are down to 39 already. :(

An Anson flew over yesterday, reminding me of my youth when they were daily.
