Elanfan1, I have been reading your anything but polite posts for 9 years now. I am fully aware of Ed's faults. My point is not about them, it is about yours. In this case, he is doing none of what you describe, but just tying to learn about his car and you chose to bait him. I am politely asking you to stop. Dan
PS. People have left this forum because of you as well, so I guess you and Ed are the same on that count.

Post the early "Bourne"bodies, I understand that manufacturing was moved in house by Lotus, so the answer would be Lotus.

The chinese eye panelsl appear to have been fitted after moulding of the shells, as was the flat panel behind the eye that supported the headlight, behind this headlight panel the moulding for the std Elan stops for the headlight buckets remain.

I'm sure there are people who worked there that could answer the question.
