50 years ago Lotus achieved victory at the Indy 500 and forever change open wheel racing in America.

This Elan departs tomorrow for the SVRA Brickyard Vintage Racing Invitational.

Too bad they will not let me use my Jim Clark Helmet and Driving Gloves.

It's a genuine 1965 Buco like the one Jimmy used.

RE 50 years ago..

An interview with Leonard Wood, of the famed Wood Brothers Racing NASCAR stock car team. They served as the Lotus pit crew at the behest of Ford. It's quite a "read".

Looks good Clark... that looks like Peter Schultz's old car next to yours... Can't read the name in your picture.

Clark - when did "Team Lance" appear on the doors? It looks great! Are you traveling east for the vintage races at Thompson this weekend?

Russ,

Team Lance seem logical since it has the same number of letters as Team Lotus.

I will not be racing at Thompson this weekend perhaps the new Palmer Motorsports Park in Massachusetts in July and then Pocono in August and Lime Rock in September.

Just some of the many Lotus related things to see at the IMS Hall of Fame Museum....
