Anyone have this book?

Would like a review. I'll probably get it anyway, just to add to the collection.

Yes I think any book with a glaring spelling mistake on the cover is a waste of paper, also were they running out of green ink when they got to "Elan" on the cover so had to suddenly reduce the font size?

How many more goofs and factual errors are lurking within?

Is it a mistake? According to Amazon it is in French.

I do have this book in my collection. I am unable to review it. It is in French. My schoolboy level at that language means that I can just about get the gist of some of what is written. The French for Restoration is Restauration, so not a speeling mastake. The book in size, layout and style reminds me of the Lund book.

It has got some photos in it though. And we all like books with photos!

Salut

Got it and read it - however it's in a box in our new house, so I can't dig it out to check my memory. I can't remember it being that good, or even funny. Don't remember the photos either. It's a froggie book.

If you're reading this forum Jean-Claude, I promise to dig it out and be more thorough (and fair) in my evaluation, FWIW.

If you want to get excited about a book, a new edition of the 'Yellow' book (Coterie Press) is coming out next week:

Ah well if it's a French book it must be rubbish

But shouldn't it be "La Passion and Restauration"?

Greg,

just by looking at the cover it must be a wonderful book! It has what appears to be an S2 or maybe a S1 Elan on the cover. It just doesn't get any better than that!!!!!

Its a catering book!

And that wasnt a typo for Caterham.

Been speaking nothing but French for 10 years and now I learn that my initial useage of the word restauration which I had to stop using for "renovation" because everyone thought I was talking about the restaurant/canteen trade was indeed correct

I can tell you definitively that its a crap book without ever having read it
