That's a great pic, the one with the "fish eye" lens. Don't know what you call that, but I really like the image and effect

Just looking for some pictures but all the rebuild pics are on 35mm, the only pictures i have where taken MANY moons ago.

These are the pictures of the +2 just after we picked it up, still covered in moss and dirt, had snapped the cam chain so had an engine rebuild but they couldn't get it running because it was 180 out so it sat for ten+ years like that.

DSC00214.JPG and

This Picture is about 1994 when the car was used every day and one day the Rubber doughnut let loose and snapped one of the rear calipers off......

I'll have to get some of it now after the rebuild... Looks much better with Chrome bumpers on.

Is there a similar picture thread for REAL Elans  Hehe (Advantages of having both)

Early '68 car. Note plus two badge on rear panel...having changed the sills on this car I can confirm the wings have never been drilled for the badge.I would have thought Lotus would have done this even if it was sold as a kit?

Here's my "garage find", off the road since 1980. It's hell being your own DPO.

This was six years ago and it's my garage  before moving to Nevada. Still a work in progress, but with less distractions (no kayaks, no koi pond, no fishing trips, no job...). :D

Nice, Jeff.

What's the colour? Is that Lagoon Blue? Seems too light, but perhaps just the exposure on a sunny day??

Thanks,

Randy

Hi Randy,
Yes it's Lagoon blue, it was indeed sunny and the picture was a bit over exposed. Also after 25 years the paint may have faded a bit!
