Is there a Lotus alternative for everyday car?

PostPost by: dunclentdr » Mon Oct 13, 2014 5:02 pm

Just done the maths on my current lease car and the final 12 months are going to cost me ?6000, quirk of timing and an excess mileage payment that disappears if I buy (and then sell) the car now.

Causes me to wonder, needing a 4 seat car and doing 20k miles p.a., is there a Lotus option that works out cheaper, for example 20k miles in an Evora?

Creative solutions welcomed...

If your tax optimisation allows for a second-hand car a lotus Carlton would be cool ...

Lotus Excel ?

4 seats, not to expensive to buy and there appears to be good examples for sale when I last looked.

Running cost could be expensive though................
