There is an ?lan for sale at Wirewheel in Florida at the moment.
I love it and have a thing for red interiors.

If it was in Australia I'd snap it up!

Thanks for the welcome!
I have been on the forum for a few years but haven't got round to posting anything.
When I noticed the seats I couldn't resist commenting, I guess they were more rare than I thought!
I should have asked more money for them.....
Seriously I am glad them may be of use to someone, I was going to use the frames and recover them black anyway.
Here is my car when I brought it home a few years ago. It would take me way more pictures now as it is in many more pieces......
The car has very low miles having had a relatively minor crash around 1970. The PO had started to repair it but lost interest in 1974 when he moved home and put the car at the back of his garage, that is where I pulled it out in 2007.
I will post more pictures as the restoration gathers steam, unfortunatly there is a Triumph TR250 in the line for attention first.....

Mazzini and everyone,

As many people know, I manufacture exact reproduction S1, S2, and some S3 and S4 interior parts, such as Seat Covers, Door Panels, Consoles, Console Pads, Window Whiskers, etc. I've been making these parts since 1998. They are very nice. They have the correct die-electrically welded design and lines heat welded into the vinyl just as the originals.

Yes it's true a handful of cars were made with red interior components. The S2 I'm restoring now has red seats. In my last run of seat covers I manufactured, I made three sets in red, ......at a tremendous personal expense. One for me and two to sell. Normally the minimum run I can make is 100 sets. I've sold one set and have one set left. $1600

Here is a pic.

I'm not sure what I'm going to do with them, but they're so rare I just had to have them!

I love the unique differences within some Elans. My EXTREMELY late S2 SE has red seats. Frank
