Bleeding clutch (v2)

Could the pedal box be sourced from another car and it just happens to be there?

I dont know Plus 2's well but here is a couple of thoughts:
1. could the pedal stick/catch on something if pushed too far?
2. could the pedal "over centre" and stick?
3. by pushing too far could the slave cylinder reach the limit of travel and push the piston out?

My car is fitted with one too. Adjusted so the pedal hits it at the same as it hits the edge of the pedal box. Or so close its hard to tell which one is actually limiting the pedal movement

Believe the pedal box is specific to the plus two. I guess it's there to stop the pedal damaging the edge/corner of the pedal box over time.

Yes they are ,and I know of at least three variations of them...

HI All

I believe this bolt is a stop to prevent the slave cylinder piston traveling to far.
