Lotus Only Track Day - NSW
Posted: Thu Apr 10, 2014 5:16 amAll you guys in the UK and USA don't know how good you have it, but finally we are getting our own version of the Lotus Only Track Day - the first (trial) one was run last year, and was a great success, so there will be two this year - one tomorrow and one in June. They are organised By the NSW Lotus Dealership, Simply Sports Cars and run by Mark O'Connor, who also campaigns the Donut King Exige V6 which won its class at the Bathurst 12 Hour earlier this year.
So if you are at a loose end and want to come along and join in the craic, be at Wakefield Park tomorrow morning, or better yet, get down to Trappers in Goulburn this evening!
The format of the day is Race, Sprint or Drive; Race is 15 minutes sesions of P, Q and three R, sprint is five 15 minute sessions, and Drive is likewise, five 15 minute sessions (the difference being there is no timing for the Drive sessions)
Sadly the Elise is sans engine currently, but that just means I'll have to take the Elan down there for its first outing
