What is the significance of your username, Whats your story?
I got the idea for this post from an assumption made on another post.
My user name is 'Holywood3645'
Im orginally from Holywood Co Down N. Ireland. My dad owned a Taxi company. Back then, it was standard to answer the phone by stateing your telephone number. It was all the answers to calls for Taxi's that burnt this into my brain .... Holywood3645
Funny the assumption on the other post appears to think my user name orginates Hollywood ( 2 LL's) California,
I now live near San Diego California.

That would be ElanInTheCave, and the Forest hasn't been in Wales since around 1390 when Owain Glynd?r got Henry IV chasing him westwards!

Hi James,
well, I'm another who thought you lived in Hollywood and hence the neat username
My username isn't so deep. I always struggle with these things when faced with a registration page, so this time I decided I'd pick something associated with the Elan that I'm not likely to forget.....

Interesting... I posted this self same 'question' several months ago on audi-sport.net in the RS3 forum, is this where you saw the 'thread'?
My own user name is 45bvtc, both here and on the audi-sport.net forum.
And of course 45bvtc refers to a Lotus Type 45 Elan with a Big Valve Twin Cam engine.
I recently sold my own Elan Sprint after 37-years of ownership, and it's a car that's remembered fondly.

My user name reflects my appreciation of Spyder Cars Ltd and the fact that I realised you can have a space between Spyder and Fan.
Most user names miss this last fact... Elanintheforest could be ?lan in the forest, or Cortina in the woods or Jaguar in the woodpile

Mine is because a rather nasty troll on another forum (not car related) who has gone on to become a rather sinister cyber-stalker used to love referring to me as The Chancer in a pejorative manner, I actually found it quite flattering and thought, well if the cap fits.......................
When he was banned from that forum I adopted the name in his memory knowing that it would wind him up and have stuck with it ever since, makes me easy for him to find on Google so in time he will pop up here with the same agenda.
I have found that people sometimes over-react to some of my tongue in cheek remarks because of my username.
