S2 Lotus Maiden Voyage

I know it's not an Elan but it was still cool to see this early Seven.
This 1962 Lotus Seven experienced its maiden voyage today after sitting for over 30 years in storage in a Southern California garage. Gregg, the current owner purchased the car from the original owner in boxes four years ago. He?s taken his time reassembling the car and making small updates when required such as new brakes and hydraulics. Taking great care not to loose the original charm and character, Gregg has chosen to keep the blue paint applied by the original owner that covers the factory applied yellow paint and bare alloy panels. The car is powered by a 997 BMC with twin SU carburetors. Lotus SB1233 is a real treasure and a view back in time to what sports cars were about in the 1960?s
