Posted: Mon Sep 11, 2023 4:27 amNo, broke it a while back. Not sure if there is a good option for mirrors on an elan. Hate the idea of drilling doors of wings. Thought the type that attaches to window frame was a good option.... until it's not!

that rcombs on this forum restored. A very nice job indeed and we're still in the 'sorting out'
phase. It's a pretty late car, having left the factory in July of '67. I know the first owner who
bought it from a dealer in Canada. He laid up the car in '86 due to, I think, a foot injury and
Rick Combs bought it in 2013 (or '14, not sure). He fully restored the car to a very nice high
standard and 'ran out of steam'.
The car was originally yellow and pictured is the first owner in a slalom event in 1973.
I have the original tool kit, jack, jack handle, owner's manual, service manual and
key ring from the selling dealer with the VIN stamped in the back. It's the black
leather piece with the 4 digit phone number.
