Well done to your car Paddy.
From your place take a trip in the old girl down to the West Country. There are some great Elan roads there. For some added fun, arrange a route that only follows B and minor roads. Avoiding motorways and modern A roads will go some way to recreating the halcyon driving roads of 50 years ago.

Paint the bumpers Gold! Perhaps a meet up with Rod would be appropriate as his is a similar age.
