Last year I attended an informal dinner with the various area Lotus Clubs, which was fantastic. Any plans this year?

Cheers! Terrific event if you have not attended before. :)

Sounds good Bill.

Mike from White Rock (Europa) sent me details on a dinner after the show. Will be same location as last year after the show on Saturday at about 5:30.

I was in Squamish ( 50 miles north of Vancouver ) for two weeks so was able to visit this show. There were certainly some interesting cars to see. But best of all it was great to meet and chat to Bill. His Elan is just lovely and it is astonishing that he has owned it from new.

Great you could make it Ken. It is a really wonderful show.

I unfortunately had several mis-adventures and didn't make it. I was all set to go in my new (to me) 2000 Esprit V8. I went in to a hand car wash for a buff up for the road. They left the head lights on so the pods would be up for washing. Well, the car wouldn't start after the wash; I naively assumed the engine was running. A jump start got it going, but it apparently sent a surge through the alternator and fried the regulator.

Several iterations of repair, towing, etc. followed, but to no avail. I ended up trailering the car down to Vancouver for some booked service with Richard at Richmond Auto Clinic. All appears good with the car now.

Hoping for better luck for the West Coast Lotus Meet in the Seattle area early July.
