This probably belongs in free parking, that said - it is some of the sunrises that have occurred mostly this year. Sometimes there weather is just perfect for some great color.
Enjoy

As Shakespeare wrote in Venus and Adonis ?Like a red morn that ever yet betokened, Wreck to the seaman, tempest to the field, Sorrow to the shepherds, woe unto the birds, Gusts and foul flaws to herdmen and to herds.?

Or more briefly ?Red sky at night, sailor?s delight. Red sky in morning, sailor?s warning?

Nice pictures!

The power poles are gone in this mornings photo, the power company has removed them a couple weeks ago and the beach homes are without power until they figure out where the poles are going to go. The road that the poles were on is a sometimes thing. Sometimes in the ocean and other times it is the beach. the home owners moved part of the road as the town didn't own the property to do it. The Electric company (possibly phone company) owns the poles and pays property taxes. I don't think they have a plan at the moment on where they can install new poles so it will be interesting to see how this works out. No road, and no power makes these homes a bit tenuous at the moment. My guess is they can't insure them for fire as they can't be accessed by the fire department. As you can see in this picture the pilings are of a house that caught fire on winter day. it took 4 years to get this house in todays photo put back. I really believe that these people are pissing into the wind and the ocean will take there homes. I hope to live long enough to see myself gone from here as the term "Oh Shit, I'm next" come to mind again.

Hi Gary and Happy New Year to you and Beau!

Great pictures and they will look even better when the ocean wins its path!
I really like the first picture posted as the clouds and sun combination look fabulous.
