Who is going to the NEC Classic Motor Show

The NEC Classic Motor Show is on the 16th, 17th & 18th November this year. Who's definitely going? The show is huge this year see the floor plan here

Courtesy of Club Lotus Staffordshire Branch, my S4 Duratec special will be on display on stand 18C148 (Hall 18). Brian Clarke (BCMC33) has the unenviable task of organising getting all the cars to the show.

Brian asked me earlier this year if I was interested in displaying Kermit explaining that they always like to have an oddball! Not sure if he was referring to the car or myself... probably both.

Our local Club Lotus branch has a stand again this year and I have responsibility for getting the cars there.
I plan to have one of each series to mark the 50th anniversary.

I will be there but I'm not sure which day. Friday used to be "Press and Trade" day but now seems to be so crowded with wiff waff and plebs that I might try one of the other days- any recommendations?

I'll make a point of popping along to have a chat as I'm there every day at sometime or other helping out on the Morgan Sports car club Stand.

Well, I certainly will not be in church, I'm scared of snakes.

In either case (wiff or a waff) you are a member of the "twash", "wagtag" or "wabble"...as opposed to one of the upper cwust wanks in society

I'm still none the wiser about who will be there tomorrow! I wish folks would include their real names on this forum.

I may be there Sunday... Flying NYC --> LHR over Friday night & then drive to Nottingham.

Not too far away... May be a nice drive with my Dad.

Phil Harrison aka Pharriso

p.s. Is there a furthest distance travelled award?

So I have scanned the plan, the Lotus content I see is:
* Club Lotus Staffordshire (discussed here)
* "The Lotus Forums" - what is this?
* Lotus Driver's Club

have I missed anything? Are there any vendors with Lotus Parts etc?

I think the Lotus Forums might be connected with those pointed cars made by Proton, Toyota, Bugatti, etc but with a Lotus badge.
