Brian Buckland coming to Western NY Oct 21st.

Hi all,

Just a note to those in the North East USA. Brian Buckland, renowned author of the Lotus Addendum to the Work Shop Manual, is going to be giving a talk, presentation etc at my house in Williamsville NY on October 21st. Williamsville is a NE suburb of Buffalo NY. This is a Sunday and providing we have good weather, will also have a small car show in our back yard and a cookout. All are welcome. All we are asking for is a small donation to the LOONYs, $10 to $20 for food, lodging for Brian and refreshments.

Let me know if you are coming. We are expecting a nice turnout of LOONYs and others from the Lotus world.

As a possible added treat, we may have some additional famous Lotus people to show up as well, but as in all things involving travel, time and distance cannot ever guarantee any portion of an event. We are hopeful however.

Edit...I forgot, send me an email at tvacc *@* lotusowners *dot* com for directions and to let me know you are coming.

Sounds like a great event, Tony. Wish I were closer.

This was a fantastic event! Many, many thanks to Tony for making his happen. It was delightful chatting with Brian Buckland, very nice guy. Also, Bob Dance and Richard Parramint were in attendance as well. Lots of friendly folks, and a super lunch spread.

Brian gave a nice presentation, and also spent time individually with those who brought Elans to the event - if the lack of originality of my car put him off, he graciously didn't let on. :D

I will not be at the LOG, but this was a pretty cool substitute.

I cannot add pics at the moment, hopefully someone else can.
