Unfortunately the race turned out to be a pretty dismal procession, with only 13 starters.

Some of the Elans also raced in the Swinging 60s race; this was much more entertaining and was won by... an Elan, with this one coming in second!

Can anyone provide the details of the crankshft fired ignition system on the yellow KelSport car? Looks there must be a 4 coil pack behind the firewall in addition to the crankshaft trigger. Can I assume there is no distributor and a control module somewhere?
