Gary,
Great image. Are they checking out the Elan or is Beau asleep on the passenger floor?
Russ
Beau used to go everywhere, but he's taken to being himself and just doesn't get it that he's not the cute little puppy he once was and dropping 3 loafs at British Car day may have ended his travels to that venue next year. He used to do the same when I would to take him to the lighthouse or harbor, so instead of me picking up after him he can shit his brains out at home where I don't have to do much about it. The seat was out of the car so maybe they were discussing why it only had the one seat, I don't know as I didn't get into a conversation as it would have probably been way over my head, You know I can only about Lotus Elans or maybe toss in an Elite to vary the conversation a bit so I don't appear like a total moron.

p.s. the Turbo Toyota Europa looks like a nice ride, I am glad it is not mine.

The day started off mild and the clouds hung in all morning, about 2:30 the sun broke through and it started to warm up and the humidity had risen to the uncomfortable level. The weather folks said heavy thunderstorms by sunset but at 5:30 it looked fine so I went out to the lighthouse expecting a light turnout. I was not wrong either, a few of the locals were there but that was it. Here is the group photo.
Several others showed up and a few of the above people left while I was there.
Bill showed up with the Daimler SP250 and my friend Doug asked to see under the bonnet so I grabbed the camera and took a couple pictures just because he had the 3 duce's
I finally left at sundown after the yacht club fired the cannon to signify that sundown had arrived without any showers or rain.
