Sam writes for a variety of publications, including the BMW Car Club of America magazine "Roundel". A few months back he wrote about his Elan acquisition, and I sent him a note welcoming him to Elan ownership. I also mentioned Lotuselan.net as a resource he might want to look into. He in turn responded with several color photos of his Elan (looks to be cardinal red) and said he knew about the forum.

I enjoy reading his monthly columns in Roundel. Compared to me he is very young, but is definitely very much a "car guy".
