Going Saturday, but probably not in the Elan unless there is 'special' parking provided..

Elan.net Festival of Speed Attendees: Is there a common meeting place for people who are looking for someone at the FoS to connect? I would really like to meet any of you who will be at the FoS on Friday or Saturday as it may be a rare chance to put a face with a name. I will be attending with Rod Thonger and Geoff Cole so if you know either of them by sight you should find me nearby wearing my bright yellow hat for LOG 27 in Aspen.
Perhaps there is a time and place where a meeting could be designated.

What about at the main lawn sculpture (in front of the house) at lunchtime, say 12.30? It is Lotus-themed, apparently - I don't know what it is and I'm sure if you look online and spoil the surprise you'll see some photos of it.
I will be there on Friday only.

Goodwood update from Lotus :
Away from the track, Bonhams is holding an auction of Lotus road and racing cars ? 24 models stretching all the Lotus eras; from a Le Mans veteran Team Lotus Type 11 and ex-Formula One Type 18 to a selection of mint road cars and three unique concept cars.
These and other two-seat toys of the 21st century might not exist were it not for the little Lotus Elan, which blows the candles out on its 50th birthday cake this year. Surprising, considering how gorgeous it still looks! Lotus pays homage to this revolutionary sports car on its 1000 m2 stand taking pride of place along side the current Lotus line up.

I went to buy my ticket yesterday for the Saturday and they have sold out! I was also going on the Thursday on a work jolly but the bastards who organised just cancelled.
I might buy a Sunday ticket (can't believe it's ?55 now!!!). Is anyone else going on the Sunday? It would be great to meet up with some other owners.

I saw the sculpture from the air on Saturday, it looks like a big white swoopy thing.
Certainly not like last year's E Type made from steel tube.

I went to the "Moving Motor Show" today and picked up a programme.
There are three Lotus classes and they run at 11.55 to 12.40 - so meeting at 12 is no longer a good idea.
How about 1.30?
