Hi

I just saw this advertised in Practical Classics mag and thought it may interest people with MOTs coming up?

The website says you can recommend garages; which is useful as there is only one in the CO postcode for me.

I can recommend Sutton Road Garage, Muswell Hill, London UK, N10 1HK

They have been MOTing my Lotus Elan for many many years now and are honest & good.

Jason, thanks for the listing.

I live out in the sticks some 9 miles from Stafford (ST18), and what do I find in the list.
A Classic friendly MOT garage less than 5 mins away, which I did not know was there. :o

I will check it out on Monday; as hopefully; my +2 restoration will be complete this year.
This after a 5 year restoration period and some 23 years in the garage.

Nearest one 16 miles from me :( I will try the local slack one first hopefully very soon and then aim for the friendly one next year.

My car is close to being ready for a MOT. I am keeping my fingers crossed that the wife goes to work next week so I can sneak into the garage.

Today, I went to check out the garage listed on the FBHVC MOT List.
It was open and busy and located on a small Industrial site, just off a B road, some 1.6 miles from my home. :D

What a find. Thanks again Jason

Also a great day for the garage, did you manage it Jason?

Sadly no; had to sort out a flooding problem in the garden that was threatening the garage. Just started raining here again and the forecast is for more rain this week. Have pumped out the soak-away; need to take up and re-level the area near the garage or put a propeller on the +2.

I use Newhampton Road service station in Wolverhampton and have done for the last ten years. Very considerate tester.

Just back from getting the Sprint tested; it passed, as usual, at:

S&D Newton
Unit 4
Haigh Close
Parkgate Industrial Estate
Knutsford
Cheshire
WA16 8DX

I have been dealing with Dennis for many years, they are classic enthusiasts and understand how to treat older vehicles. I've nominated Dennis for the list.

One missing from the list for the Tonbridge area.

H Engineering, http://classicandsportscarrestoration.co.uk/index.html

Just had mine done with them and went straight in - straight out, no problems. Good price too.
