AB...

Oh yes!
Most likely to be found topping up on "full English breakfast(s)" or outside grabbing some "fresh air" with a fag in my hand.
Oh & occasionally sauntering around the show looking a bit lost

How about starting a list of "Who's going to be there, on what day"

Cheers
John

PS I will miss the pleasure of not seeing Ron Hickman wandering around with his wheely shopping trolley this year.
RIP Ron

If I can get up early enough I'll be there for "kick off" on Saturday.
B&B in Castle Donington booked so that I can get a 2nd dose on Sunday.

Cheers

As previously reported I will be there Saturday afternoon & Sunday morning. But we have a holdup on the S4 Duratec which will probably mean a no show for the car this year. I am looking into the possibility of bringing the unfinished car for display, but am not too hopeful.

That will be a shame, but thinking positively it will mean I won't be drooling & slobbering all around it

I will be there all weekend with my usual stall and a couple of new products.
Pop by for a chat as I enjoy hearing about your Elans and how projects are progressing.

So Clive, what's new? Your web site is not showing anything new for us guys on the other side of the pond that will probably not be attending the event.

Hi Sarto
Getting a better up to date website is on the list of things to do.
(I just need to find someone to do it).
New items are cooling system based.
S1 Elan Aluminium top tube with adjustable temp fan controller.
Cooling fan brackets:- front mount, rear, twin, single etc.
And some new radiator mounting brackets that allow you to reposition the radiator in any orientation you want:-
slide it forward away from the engine, drop it down lower, tilt it etc.

Just finished day one at the show and it was very good to meet up with a good number of you.

It strikes me that quite as many attending as we might have expected, but we shall see what tomorrow brings. Some good Elans, including the IWR Elan looking resplendent after a light restoration by Paul Matty for it's new English owner, who lives not at all far from the Martin Stretton IWR Racing Elan, so these two rare cars are now back to be close to each other.

Not able to post my photos yet and am off for our first Club Lotus Elan Section meeting so tight on time. Will try to do so tomorrow.

Looking forward to meeting more of you tomorrow.
