Finally built myself a chassis.

My wife would never have gone for that. I'll need a bachelor pad to hand an Elan chassis from the ceiling. It looks very cool!
Your a lucky man Rohan :D

So that's where it is now !

I've moved up in scale now, attached is a photo of the first chassis rail I've hammered out for the car my son is making.
Replica, ( correct straight 8 engine etc), of a Type 59 Bugatti.

Hey Ralph! Yes it's still here. I just wonder where all those who expressed interest in having you make them one are now??? They all wanted one, but never stepped up or followed through. Here's their chance to own your work of art. I'm selling it for "Certified Lotus" who purchased it from you originally. Would make a great Christmas present for the true Elan enthusiast. Thanks for chiming in from down under!

Good luck with the sale Ted.
Assure any potential purchaser that in the unlikely event it were to get damaged in transit I'm happy to repair it.
Probably wouldn't get much help from the local car repair shop..... :)

Cheers,
Ralph.

A really cool object for sure, but WAY above my budget for car-art/memorabilia.
