What did you do to your Lotus today...
Fitted Plus 2 brakes to the front of my Sprint. Disconnected the servo. Also fitted a 26R ant- roll bar. Tried to fit a tandem brake M/C but had carb clearance issues so fitted a different capacity M/C which hopefully should give decent pedal feel. Made a new brake pipe and was about to fill and bleed the system but decided to call it a day.

the calipers don't look like Plus2 calipers. of course those aren't stock rotors either.
isn't the Plus2 caliper a Girling PB ?

Girling 16P/PB I think, some are metric, some are not. The disc/rotor came from Kelvedon, don't know why I bought it as a standard one would have worked just as well.

Hi Mazzini,
I fitted one of these tandem master cylinders to my S4.

No clearance problems with Weber carbs and the associated engine mount.
Cheers,
Colin.

Unbolted an engine mount so I could jack the engine up, remove the carbs, and re-connect the fuel line into the fuel pump.
When it loosened I had a difficult trip home from about 30 km's away as the car ran on 4, 3, 2, and sometimes none !
Managed 80kph on what sounded like 2 cylinders.
Actually, it sounded more like an air compressor on the move.......
Ralph.

Our local Lotus club, PALS (Philadelphia Area Lotus Society) had it's third garage tour of the season at RD Enterprises in Quakertown PA. A great event with lots of back country road driving and hosted by Ray. His Elan restoration is looking very good! It will clearly be an award winner

Today I got the lightweight body for my "26R", we also said goodbye to our s3 which has been sent off to be sold.
Between us we managed to swap most of the GRP parts and had a good fettle. All of a sudden, the car seems a lot nearer to completion. Our plan will be to try fit everything and the remove it all for the respray.
I'll let the photos do the talking.
Best regards, P

Splash it on all over.
Slight off topic, but I believe the lady in the advert became Barry's wife, so be careful how you use it.

You can't throw brut away, I collect it . Will always have about 3 bottles on standby on the off chance that it works as well as it does in the adverts (never does though)

I was age 9 and my brother age 7 when bottles of Brut were amongst the Christmas gifts we received in 1977. We splashed it on and our parents got a call from our school!
