What did you do to your Lotus today...

Out of interest, how far off were these from the QED "ball park" recommendations? I know these are Weber settings, but I may do some playing with my Dellorto's.
cheers

Mark - I have ended up with 120 mains, 150Air correctors and 50F9 idle (not 59F9 as on my chart!!)
QED state 140 Main. 155 Air correctors and 45F8 idle jets.
Another source for 1700cc engines states 125 Mains, 130Air correctors and 40F11 idle jets.
Take your pick but after many many miles and lots of fiddling my setup is working brilliantly for me. Amazing what small alterations make to the setup. Happy jetting!! D

Michelin XAS FF 165
Avon CR6ZZ 175/70
Pirelli CN36 175/70
and we'll see what works best.

Picked up the car last Thursday from the shop that recovered the dash. When I got the car, it had a hard plastic cover over the cracked and broken 'crash pad'. That cover is now off, original cracked foam is repaired, and a new layer of thin foam and new vinyl cover is glued on.
Since my toneau cover has shrunk too much to reach the dash studs, we just left those off for now.

Picked up my S4 FHC from Paul Mason Autospray. Photos were taken a few weeks ago, the boot and wheel arches are now in black. The lighting in his spray booth doesn't do it justice; it's LO1 British Racing Green.
Busy days ahead.
