Lotus Elan

Howdy

PostPost by: Hazuki » Wed Jun 19, 2024 2:05 pm

I'm currently restoring a Lotus Elan S2 I purchased about 5 years ago. It runs and drives, but it needs some attention to the interior, freeing off the brakes, and fixing a few oil leaks.
Also, I recently purchased a 2016 Sprinter with the intention of converting it into a campervan. This is my first diesel vehicle and my first Sprinter, so I'm diving into something new. I'm aiming for minimal modifications and I'm currently exploring van conversion kits I found here https://van2b.com/.
Thanks for adding me!

Welcome Hazuki, and good luck!

If your "chassis" number is near 26/4000 you may find some parts are not pure S2 but still the original 1600 variety.

This is mainly trim and drive train parts but includes front brake calipers (which may have been updated already).
