The only items i haven't located are the seats, front and rear, wheels. That's it! I set myself a task and almost completed it.

Wheels crop up on here quite often in the for sale section - I have several sets myself but being a hoarder I'll probably hang on to them.
Since your not worried about originality there are a wide variety of seats to choose from. I've seen MX5 seats in a +2 and they seem to fit the bill quite nicely (IMHO) - plenty around too.
If you've got an old shell a significant proportion of your costs will be getting a decent paint job.

Oh no, i shall be using original seats when i track some down at some point!

The only things not original will be the engine and gearbox.
