I'm new here.
I recently purchased an Elan Sprint from 1971; it appears to be a bit of a mix of original and not-so-original. I need to do more research because the car still holds some surprises, but I am delighted with the results so far.
The engine and gearbox have been rebuilt, and the vehicle looks fairly nice overall. Improvements like the electronic fuel pump and alternator have been made.
However, there are also other areas that may be improved, such as the cooling, where the outdated radiator appears to be completely inoperable, and parts that need to be replaced, such as the steering wheel and any missing mirrors. The car is in Madrid, Spain, and after doing some research, I am quite certain that I will receive a lot of assistance in getting my Elan in top condition.
PS. Happy to be here!

Welcome, Tom.
Have a look at my website, link below.
I shall be happy to help with any questions you may have and, if you let me know the VIN, I can see what data I have on the car in my register.

Hello
Welcome to the forum from a fellow Sprint owner.
If your radiator is the small one with side plates. Cooling can be as simple as fitting an earlier S3 full width radiator. It should bolt straight in

OP hasn’t been back since his one and only post on 5/11. Odd.
