Hi
I am interested in a +2 elan, I have had a Exige for the past 5 years but now fancy a change, something with a bit more room for longer runs. I have no idea of what to look out for or what sort of spec is desirable any buying guides or information would be appreciated.

Welcome Paul,
Assuming you are in the US, rather than typing a long ramble on what to look for in a Plus 2, I would prefer to have a chat and answer your specific questions in a conversation. Having had three Plus 2's and a dozen other Lotus cars, I think I can be helpful.

Club Lotus Castle Combe track day is on this Saturday 30th April.
There will be lots of different Lotus to look at and owners to talk to and get advice from.
I should be there at the autojumble (red Van) so come and have a chat.
I wrote a general buyers guide some time ago. If you (or anyone else) PM me with your email I will send it to you.
On this forum (from memory) there is also a buyers guide check list and other peoples advice on what to look out for.
