Hi,
I'm Paul. i have a 1966 S3 LHD DHC.
restoring it and have a Healey 100, 66 Alfa Duetto and a MOKE but love the Lotus beast of course. I'm into computers but love to drive in actual reality, hence the Lotus. Still picking up parts and looking into finishing touches. Hope everyone can get their car on the road after covid and meet again!

Welcome Paul,

Did the ammeter come as part of the original car? It looks like a later series of gauges and the usual fitment is a dual water temp/oil pressure gauge; do you have one of those? I'm afraid I don't have any dash dimensions to offer.

Welcome Paul,

Most of us on the forum are restoring an Elan. Some of us have multiples so we can always have at least one apart.

Then I still have my Ser 2 Eleven and a pair of 20 Formula Jrs, and the AH Sprites that predate the first Elan.

What part of the US are you in. There is always someone close enough to help.

Roger

Paul,
I had Craig Seabrook in Novolty make one for my pre-airflow coupe that I'm restoring here in Florida. I haven't tried to install it yet, but he used my origiinal as a pattern and I'm sure he kept a pattern to be able to duplicate it.

Only difference I can think of would be the early coupes did not have a lock on the glove box door and the open car has a lock. There are different hinges depending on time the car was built. I think Craig had hinges for the later cars. I'll be back in Columbus in May and may be bringing a car. and I could bring the original dash for the coupe.
