Hi, I used to own TCL 304K (Elan Sprint) back in the 70's and was just thinking of re-aquainting with an Elan. I have an original workshop manual still and various bits, so there's a start!

Your car was first registered in Norwich in Oct 71. It was last taxed in 88 and last owner change is listed as Apr 81, when it was yellow.

Was your car a DHC or FHC? Do you have the VIN, by any chance? I do not have it on my register under the number plate, but may under the VIN. (See my website, below).

Many thanks for the reply. It was an FHC. I bought the car in 1975 as I remember and the original colour was white. It was a bit discoloured and so I had it resprayed yellow with brown bumpers. I believe I sold it in 1979. I couldn't find it on the DVLA website so I thought it may have been exported - probably to Japan. Sorry I don't have the VIN.
