Lotus Elan and Lotus Elan Plus 2 Forums

Hi all,

My name is Christophe and I live in the south of France, I'm introducing myself on the forum because I've finally got back my Elan+2 that I bought in England two years ago....

For the little story, the carrier in charge of repatriating the car by my insurance (Yes, I broke down with the Lotus ) completely compressed the back of the car.
To manage the file between the insurances, the carrier, the automotive expert, the insurance experts and to repair the car it took just two long long years...

But I can now savour this moment and discover all the subtleties of my little Elan.
See you soon on the forum, because I think I will have some questions

Welcome. We have a number of owners based in France who post on here regularly.

Covid permitting, my restoration target is to have my Elan ready to drive to the south of France next summer, so perhaps we could all meet up to celebrate Lotus, the weather and the wine.

For Steve, I live in the Var (Fayence) more on the South East side. A few kilometres separate us

Andy for next year, with pleasure there are a lot of vineyards here to celebrate Lotus...
