New member. Elan +2 owner...again

Having retired I have bought myself a 1974 elan +2.
I bought an accident damaged one in 1976, and rebuilt it . New chassis, midfront etc.
Had to sell it in 1983 when bigger mortgage and child forced a review of practicalities.
MISTAKE!!!
So here I am 40 years later, and I still love everything about this car.
Car is mainly rebuilt apart from cockpit, trim and glass.
Looking forwards to connecting with like minded people.

Virtually the same as you John
Bought a red M reg 130/5 in 1978 looked after by Ken and Neil Myers Northampton and sold it in 1985 for the same reason as you

I went through the same Plus 2 story as you, though mine came nicely rebuilt by my dad. Now I am back in the fold, but with an Elan S2, with the go faster bits, so this time I can learn to properly drive the thing. John
