Hello All,
After impressing myself that I remembered my login and password I am trying to rekindle my love for the car. Too much has happened in the intervening years but I still own my 1965 S2, unfortunately in storage at the other end of the country.
Looking forward to rebuild my interest and get it roadworthy again.
Need to check how to change my signature because that's in need of updating

Did not complete my comments, yesterday, had an interruption.

Just to repeat that this is a great forum and over the passing years has had improvements.
Have a look at the ?WIKI Coming Soon?, lots of useful info.
Also I have found most of the answers to any questions by searching, but the Forum search does not always bring the results expected. E.g. I recall a topic that was discussed in the past and did a Forum search for it, it was not included in the results. So used Google; or any other search engine; I found the result I was looking for.
Looking forward to seeing photos of your cars restoration,

Thanks Trevor,
All sorted now, signature wise.
I'm obviously suffering from withdrawal symptoms as I have moved up to Orkney for work from my place on SW Dartmoor. The car remains in storage in Devon and I've been up here 16 months ago.
Saw a S4 visiting from Mainland Scotland a couple of weekends ago at the Orkney Classic Car show. Didn't meet the owner although I returned a couple of times to the car.
I think that has rekindled the Lotus fire.
Restoration will only be after I get a permanent place up here with suitable garage - I'll need something to occupy myself in the dark winter nights.
Then the problem will be transporting the car up here. But that's for another day. Only 1,600 miles return and two ferry crossings:roll:
The photo is the last one I have - cropped out of the background of a picture of another another car. No comments about using it as a storage shelf please!

Thanks for the photo, it look a great car.
I can definitely agree that when you start your restoration, you will be more than occupied.
Wish you well with all that is ahead for you.
