Returning after some time in the wilderness

Hello everyone

After a few years when my life has gone in other directions my joie de vivre for all things Elan has returned and I've found Elan.net still here and thriving. I'm planning to get my S4 back on the road for the "summer" and work to that end has been progressing of late. Hopefully I'll be able to contribute to the discussions in some kind of meaningful way.

At least you held on to your car. Let's see some pictures - what are you up against?

Welcome back!

Up against the garage wall mainly, wishing I had more space. Re pictures, I used to link through from photo bucket but since their "change of heart" last year that route seems to be blocked. Is there a go-to alternative?

Yeah. Post them here by using the "Upload Attachment" button below. Click Choose file to locate the image you want to upload, enter a comment if you want one, then click "Add the file". You'll see the file appear in a section called "Posted attachments"; position the cursor where you want the image to appear in your post and click "Place inline". Like this:

This is a sample comment for the picture.

Then you can rattle on about your lovely car (as I do about mine..)!

Photobucket and the like suck. So many forums have been vandalised by their "no external hosting unless you cough up" policy. I hate them all. Would've been OK if they had only applied this rule to future pictures, but no they had to do it retrospectively. Blackmailing scum.

Ok, that seems simple enough. I'll try it if I can find a picture of the car.

Right, found one from a few years ago so here goes:

I agree with you re photobucket. The site runs so slow I can't even download my own pictures from the site. There are a few I put there that I don't have copies of here - a kind of pre cloud on line storage attempt - and it's something I'l need to revisit in the future.

Hmm, "making the most of your double garage", I see!

That's a pretty little thing. Time to recommission it!
