Newbie Elan Restoration

Hi all,
First off, thanks for having and participating in this forum!! I have a 69 Elan DHC which has been in the family since before I was born. It has fallen upon me to get this little piece of magic back on the road and I couldn't have even gotten started without the users of this forum and their posts covering more than I could ever hope to read or understand in a decade. My dad started the restoration of the Elan many years ago and life derailed the project even with me constantly prodding him to go work on it together. Now it is solely my project and I spent countless hours combing through these forums pulling bits and pieces of information together to help guide my restoration. The project is in full swing and the plan is ever evolving but I am confident one of these days I will actually drive this car instead of sitting behind the wheel pretending. Keep posting and I'll keep reading.
Many thanks,
Chris W
