26/4204

Dear Elan.net - I have recently acquired a Series 2 - 46/4204. It was raced a bit in the late 60's and I plan to restore it for historic competition here in Australia. I have "trawled" the website for information - but will no doubt need more over the next year or two it takes to get the car "raceworthy' again.
I'm gathering the history of the car and hope to apply to Group T.
Thanks for assembling this great resource.

Hi John.

Congratulations on your acquisition. Please be advised identification numbers for S1 and S2 Elans begin with 26, not the 46 in 46/4204 you show.

Thanks Rohan - I've read quite a few of your posts - will probably be contacting you for advice. I bought Len Goodwin's old car from Billie Thompson in Albury.
