Lotus Elan and Lotus Elan Plus 2 Forums

Hi all.
My name is Francisco Sanchez, I am from Portugal and have 62 years of age.
I have been privatelly involved with oldtimers for as long as I can remembre and apart from several Minis in all sorts of shapes and configurations I have this incredible relation with the Lotus Elan. The actual one is the 2nd.
After beeing a Lotus Elan owner back in 1987 (I think!) I decided to return in November 2009.
The first one was a Red S3/SE Coupe registered in 1967. The actual one (36 / 6055) is a yellow S3 Coupe frist registered in October 1966 soon to be painted and rebuilt. Its original colour was Almond Green. Do not ask why I know that!

Thank you for the welcome John. I have been going around this site for quite a while and beleive me I am the one that has learned a lot about my Elan here. It is amaizing to amount of good information we can find. Well done to you and all that provide such good info.
